Topic of the week three - Fall into autumn dishcloth swap

The question is what we like about the autumn. It`s quite easy to answer: the autumn colors, dark nights, burning candles, being creative, producing Christmas gifts.

Repost- topic of the week two, Fall into autumn dishcloth swap

I decided to delete my previous answer to this as I got some unwanted comment/spam to my post. Anyway. If I use thick cotton or double yarn I use circular needles 4.5 mm. For thinner cotton I use needles, 2.5-3. I mostly use bamboo needles, but have no problem using metall too. I`ve loved the thick cotton yarn I`ve got from a facebook secret pal in Canada. I`m not too familiar with what cotton there is in other coutnries, but it`s always interesting to try new yarn.

Secret knitting pals swap - facebook, packet 2

Another wonderful packet from my dear, dear secret pal. I`m thrilled to be spoiled by you. You`re the best. :)
The hat was finished tonight. I`ll definitely make more of them now that I can make cables. That color is one of my fave ones. Can`t wait to wear it during the cold days that soon will be here. I`ll try many of the cable patterns from the book. M&M was gone shortly after the photo was taken. :)

Topic of the week - Fall into autumn dishcloth swap

This swap starts this week and there will be a weekly topic to be answered. As I live in a cold part of the world with no summer heat I don`t feel the need for changing my knitting during the summer. I can knit wool socks and alpacca scarves in between cotton dishcloths. Lately I`ve been hooked on dishcloths as I`ve been travelling pretty much and it`s easy knitting in cars and planes.
