Fikk flott garn fra Sarah i Pa, USA, Lorna`s Laces og Knit Picks. Har ikke prøvd noen av de før så det måtte prøves med en gang til oppskrifta på flettesokker som fulgte med. Lovely Lorna`s Laces and Knit Picks yarn from Sarah in PA. Had to try it right away with the pattern followed the swap.

Knit 1 Tea 2 Color Swap Questionnaire
Do you like loose tea or bags, or both – something you want to try? Both, love tea and loves to try new flavours. Don`t like herbal tea too much.
What is your favorite kind of tea (Brand, flavor, variety, etc)? Vanilla, cinnamon, cherry, apple, blueberry....
Favorite color in regards to tea or one you would like to try? (black, green, red, and white) (keeping in mind that this is how this swap is set up). Black
Would you say you were a tea pot kind of person or just a hot water heater kind? Hot water heather kind. Used to be the tea pot kind, but gave my Chinese teapot set to our oldest.
What tea accessories would you like but have never purchases for yourself? Can`t think of any.
How do you prefer to be pampered? (examples: mani/pedi, bubble bath, yummy treat, etc). Body lotion, lovely smelly soaps, lipgloss, candles, candy/chocolate
If you were a kind of yarn what would you be and why? Alpaca, nice and soft. :)
If you had to knit/crochet baby booties, a fun fur scarf, or a fair isle sweater, which would you choose and why? Baby booties, small and cute. A cousin had a baby boy last week, so I plan to knit for him.
What other event would make you skip a tea party? (A garden party? A book club meeting? A yoga class? Opening night for a new action thriller? etc?) A book club meeting
What treat would you consider essential at your tea party? (Sweet? Salty? Scones? Those petite pastry trays with a couple of all sorts of things? Little crust less sandwiches?)Pastry trays
When buying yarn for a project how do you choose - do you buy the one called for or do you substitute? The one called for as long as I can find it, if not I substitute
What do you carry your knitting/crocheting in when on the go? A cute sheep bag I got in a swap-Bot swap.

Are you a traditional tea cup kind of person or a mug type of person? Do you care if they match? A mug type. If I serve for a teaparty they have to match.
Favorite childhood birthday party? Traditional party in my home - nothing else was done when I grew up.
Favorite type of scone and jam? Scone is not a Norwegian thing to make, but I actually make them. I just make those plaine ones. Love strawberry, rhubarb, apricot jam.

Endelig er også jeg med. Kom med i siste liten da min søknad fra midt juli aldri kom fram. Heldigvis begynte jeg å sjekke i SP bloggen og så at min blogg ikke var listet der. Panikk! Nå har jeg fått min partner og kan begynne å samle sammen til en pakke. Gleder meg.
Finally I`m in, last minute stress as my application from mid July never got through. Noticed when I saw the participants list at the SP blog lately. Panic! Now I`m in and have got my partner. Will go out shopping for her.

1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like? I love wool, superwash, alpaca. Would love to try new fibres. Don`t like acrylic.
2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in? bag and pringles box.
3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced? I`ve been Knitting since mid 70`s. I`m an intermediate.
4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list? Not right now, but I plan to make an amazone one.
5. What's your favorite scent? Many fave ones like vanilla, meloncucumber, cinnamon, coffee.... Most is good, but I can`t stand apple and rose scents. They make me sick.
6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy? Love to try new sweets, all kinds. Fave is M&M`s (don`t sell it in Norway)
7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin? I make cards, beads, rubber-stamping. I can`t spin, but I have a hand-spindle.
8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD) Country, musicals, pop, some rock, gospel, latino, italian, think my computer/player can play MP3s. Not much into it, but I love music.
9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand? Burgundy, red, blue, brown, turquose, most colors but not neon
10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets? Married, two girls age 13 and 25. One cat and a pet rabbit

12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit? Scarves, pulsewarmers, hats, cloths, calorimetery, socks. In the 80`s ands early 90`s I knit mostly swatehers, but now I prefer smaller and faster items.

14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts? yes, but not bottlebags as I don`t drink alcohol
15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic? Both. Straight 20cm and circular 30 and 40cm. Prefer bamboo.

17. How old is your oldest UFO? About a year. Found some very old sweather UFOs in the attic lately, but they will never be finished. Will re-use the yarn.
