Sock It To Me Contest 1

It`s a loong time ago since I learned how to knit. I actually had to ask my mum and she said I was about 10-12 y.o. (mid 70`s). It was her to learn it to me. Untill I was 17 I just made small projects, but then I got pregnant and started making baby clothes. From there I moved towards sweathers for myself. I still have them, but they are now too small for me to wear. In the 90`S my knitting slowed down, but started all over again three years ago and I`m more hooked than ever. :) I bring my knitting projects with me everywhere if I get a spare moment. I also learned to crocket by my late Grandmother when I was about 14-15, but I never got much into it but I`ve kept things I made back then.

Votter/mittens

Vår eldste har strikket votter til sin kjære. Dette var hennes første forsøk på votter og jeg synes hun gjorde en strålende jobb.
Our oldest made those mittens for her boy-friend, her very first mittens. I think she did a brilliant job.

Alpaca skjerf/Alpaca scarf

Alpaca skjerf i havskum mønster strikket av vår eldste datter til sin Mum i Australia som fyller 60 år. Selv har jeg laget 24 slike de siste 3 år.
